HostalYebisah is situated just 50 meters from the beach on the main square in St Eulalia del Rio, which has a market of jewelry, leather and more, this beautiful town has plenty to offer the tourist who wants a select holiday resort, whilst a little quieter than some other resorts it has much to offer. There is a lovely promenade, about 50 yards from the hostal that stretches from the Marina to the only river in the Balearics.
There are plenty of shops to satisfy the most ardent shopper, a whole street dedicated to restaurants, so you will always find somewhere to suit all pockets and tastes, from the local delicacies of the island, to Chinese, Japanese and Indian. Also there are plenty of bars and cafes dotted around the town, along the beautiful promenade and around the marina.
To see the beauty of the island, its cliffs and coves take a ferry from the marina to CalaLlonga, Ibiza Town or EsCanar, famous for the original Hippy Market, there is also a daily ferry to the sister island of Formentera. If the sea is not for you then there is a regular bus service to all these, except Formentera.
If you wish to explore the island more then we recommend hiring a car, which we will happily arrange for you, there are beautiful villages to see that retain their original character and charm, San Carlos, where the original hippies used to hang out, or St.Gertrudes which has the world renowned Café Costa that specialises in Iberico ham and Manchego cheese, as well as local delicacies all served with fresh baked bread. are lots of beaches that are only accessible by car and most have a local bar/restaurant..

Puig de Missa
Puig de Missa is a fortified church build in the XVI century, placed on top of a hill. From the Viewing-point you can see beautiful views of the village of Santa Eulà ria des Riu. The church have been build adding different buildings over the years to hide the fact of being fortress. It is believed that the same architect build the walls of the castle of Eivissa. The baroque major altar comes from San Millan of Segovia, from the same origin are the altarpieces 3 and 4. The Crist tied to the column, dated from the century XVII are some of the most interesting sights to see.
Ethnological museum Can Ros
Walking up to Puig de Missa you will find this ethnological museum which describes very well the ibicenco rural architecture, showing the different rooms and parts of an authentic ibicenco house. You will see
jewellery and clothing also tools for the farm and other jobs or even musical instruments, weapons and other personal objects.
Can Planetes
Es Moli de Dalt( the upper mill ) or Can Planetes is a typical farm house where you find a water mill inside. It is believed to have been build in the X century, the origin is Andalusà and was working until the 50’s of the last century. It has been reformed many times , and the last one was to show how the mill use to work.
The river
You can enjoy a nice walk up the river of Santa Eulà ria des Riu observing the local flora and fauna. It´s the only river in the Balearic Islands, the river crosses the island coming from the north-west to East.
